Plotting the dose- response curves characterizing effects of UV laser radiation on the activity of peritoneal and splenic macrophages in vitro; comparing the response of peritoneal and splenic macrophages to UV irradiation. Materials and Methods. Irradiation of mouse peritoneal and splenic macrophages in vitro has been performed with the pulsed Nitrogen laser (1=337 nm) at various doses. Assessment of macrophages functional activity was done with the standard NMT-test. Non-irradiated cells have been used as a negative control. Results. We found that UV laser radiation affected functional activity of peritoneal and splenic macrophages in vitro with the stimulatory effect of low and inhibitory effect of high doses of radiation. Macrophages of peritoneal cavity and spleen demonstrated heterogeneity in their response to the action of similar radiation doses. The "dose-response" curve to characterize the UV- induced effects on peritoneal and splenic macrophages was plotted. Conclusion. Using of the model system (macrophages) allowed demonstrating that NADPH-oxidase is the main molecular target for the action of UV laser radiation (1=337nm). Lower doses of radiation (160 mJ/ml) stimulate the activity of macrophages, while higher doses (3840 mJ/ml) suppress it, and peritoneal macrophages are more sensitive to the stimulatory effect of UV laser radiation. Our findings could be used to predict the effects ofUV-based fluorescent optical biopsy or PUVA-therapy. To study the phagocytic activity and parameters of oxygen-dependent metabolism of peripheral blood neutrophils in children with pharyngeal tonsil. Materials and Methods. Were studied 115 children with hypertrophy of the pharyngeal tonsil in age of 1 - 6 years old. The tests for determination the phagocytic index and phagocytic number were carried out with latex particles. Evaluation ofluminol- dependant chemiluminescence of blood neutrophils was performed by the method ofDe Sole et al. (1983). Results. In children with hypertrophy of the pharyngeal tonsils due to lower number of actively phagocytizing cells was noted the persistence of blood neutrophils absorbency. The changes in the parameters of the chemiluminescence response of blood neutrophils in children with hypertrophy of the pharyngeal tonsil were depended on the age of the examined children and fwere more significant in the age group of 4 - 6 years old. Conclusion. The received data are likely to consider when designing immunocorrecting measures in children with abnormal increase of the pharyngeal tonsil. In some universities the undergraduate students have deviations of body mass from 12% to 35%, in the larger percentage of cases - underweight of body mass in girls and obesity among boys. Deviations of body mass reveal a violation of the physical status of students and the need to study the problem and control the risk of its development. Study of risk factors for renal ceil carcinoma in patients of Regional Oncological Dispensary and population of the Krasnoyarsk Region. Materials and Methods. Risk factors for kidney cancer associated with lifestyle (smoking, obesity, hypertension) were studied in 500 patients with RCC; control group comprised 858 residents of the Krasnoyarsk Region. Results. It was found that for the men are more important such risk factors as smoking and hypertension (increase the risk of RCC in2.9and 3.3 times, respectively), and for women-obesity and hypertension (2.6 and 3.2 times respectively). Conclusion. The obtained data are important in the development of measures for primary prevention and early diagnosis of kidney cancer in the Krasnoyarsk Region. Voyno-Yasenetsky Krasnoyarsk State Medical University; vkudashov@mail.ru Annotation Health status as «healing» of the body is determined by the need of finding the integrality and in this sense is the basis of self-development freedom. Modern research of a person is forced to admit that his physicality includes both physical and metaphysical aspects of being a subject in the world. Corporeality is not the same as body and includes, besides psychophysiological components, conscious and unconscious representations and experiences, acquiring system integrity, semiotic and symbolic, cultural form and arbitrariness of social functioning.
