PUBLICATION REQUIREMENTS

CHOICE OF SECTION

''Siberian Medical Review'' is making every effort to bring the requirements for manuscripts, published in the journal, to international standards. We follow the ''Uniform Requirements for Manuscripts Submitted to Biomedical Journals: writing and editing of medical publications'', published by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE). We also follow recommendations of the COPE established by the Committee on Publishing Ethics (COPE).
The holding and description of all clinical studies must be in full accordance with CONSORT standards .

''Siberian Medical Review'' welcomes contributions to the following journal sections:

Scientific review - is a critical generalization of some research topic.
The volume of the article – up to 15 pages of typewritten text (no more than 5 drawings or tables).
Unstructured abstract should be up to 600-800 characters .
There should be up to 60 literature sources .

Original research - is a detailed format for presenting the results of a logically completed scientific study.
The paper (including the title page, tables, drawings, references) should be up to 12 pages of typewritten text (no more than 5 drawings or tables).
The abstract should be 1500-2000 characters (contains 4 sections: Objective, Materials and Methods, Results, Conclusions).
There should be up to 20 literature sources .

Clinical case – short, informational message representing a difficult diagnostic problem, presentation of separate results of logically completed scientific research.
The volume of the article - should be up to 5 pages of typewritten text (3 drawings or tables).
Unstructured abstract should be up to 500-700 characters .
There should be not more than 10 literature sources .

Lecture – clinically directed surveys, included sections on epidemiology, pathophysiology, diagnostic methods, treatment and prevention.
The volume of the article – up to 15 pages of typewritten text (no more than 5 drawings or tables).
Unstructured abstract should be up to 600-800 characters .
There should be up to 40 literature sources .

Management and health economics
The paper (including the title page, tables, drawings, references) should be up to 12 pages of typewritten text (no more than 5 drawings or tables).
The abstract should be 1500-2000 characters (contains 4 sections: Objective, Materials and Methods, Results, Conclusions).
There should be up to 20 literature sources .
